Paulo Sobral is a Cannabis Beverage Entrepreneur. His more recent role was as the Senior Account Executive at Vertosa. Paulo first incorporated cannabis into his wellness routine in 2014. The positive experience was contrary to everything he heard about the plant growing up, and his curiosity lead him down a career path to serve the cannabis industry with the ultimate goal of federal legalization in the US.
Paulo is experienced across the mainstream consumer-packaged goods, technology and cannabis fields. For nearly six years, he worked for PepsiCo, both in retail where he managed a team of sales representatives in large volume accounts and in foodservice where he secured and managed key accounts. Looking to both transition to a smaller company and sell something he could be passionate about, his first foray into the cannabis industry came in 2016 as the second sales hire for the San Francisco-based startup, Bloom Farms. During his tenure, the company tripled its monthly revenue, and more importantly, tripled its number of employees. Paulo now leads infused beverage sales for Vertosa.
