Kate Lynch

EVP of Marketing for Curaleaf

Kate Lynch is the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Curaleaf, parent company of Curaleaf, Select and Grassroots brands. Kate leads the company’s 360-degree marketing operations and commercialization efforts across the company’s 23-state footprint for all three brands. 

Having been promoted twice in under two years, Kate has assumed increasing levels of responsibility in different areas of the Curaleaf team as it’s grown to become the largest cannabis company in the world. Kate started at the company as Vice President of Marketing for Curaleaf Hemp in 2019 where she oversaw all wholesale and retail initiatives, ultimately landing the products in mainstream Food, Drug and Mass outlets like Wegman’s, Safeway, Albertsons and BJ’s Wholesale Club. 

Kate was able to successfully implement brand strategies through creative communications and innovative campaigns that expanded the reach of the Curaleaf brand to consumers across the US. Her passion for product development and marketing was quickly noticed and she was given an opportunity to run the Product Commercialization team as Vice President. In this role, Kate built a best-in-class commercialization process and team that brought  nearly 100 cannabis products to market; one of which received an honorable mention from Fast Company as part of their annual “World Changing Ideas” awards. 

Kate has enabled Curaleaf to successfully execute it’s mission to improve lives by providing industry leading product selection and accessibility across medical and adult-use markets. As Curaleaf’s newly appointed SVP of Marketing, she will build and lead a world-class team of cross-channel brand  marketers and continue on the path of catapulting cannabis into the CPG category. 

Prior to joining Curaleaf, Kate held senior-level positions in marketing at Columbia Care (where she  built and led the marketing organization, and Eastern Mountain Sports, where she ran product, retail and digital marketing for their chain of 68 retail stores. 

Kate holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and sociology from Middlebury College in Vermont.
