How to not get your account IG-banned time and again?

You should know that today’s modern Instagram version looks completely different If you’re using Instagram regularly.

When Instagram was at an early initial stage, it was all about going all in, doing everything & more! There was no limitation on the number of accounts you could follow, the number of posts you could like, or the number of comments you could leave on posts. You should know that today’s modern Instagram version looks completely different If you’re using Instagram regularly.

It highly depends on your category, product, service, content you produce, people you follow, how much you engage, and how much you value the community.

As people around the world, confront to protect from harmful content, abusive content, or content that does not include any violations, you need to be on top of your toes, in terms of policies, information, and your leading direction.

Especially for various categories, the rules, information, and policies are all different and customized to the community, people, audience, and product you serve & deliver.

Unfortunately, Instagram has been known to shut down accounts belonging to cannabis and cannabis-related businesses and brands.

But if you are true to your content, your intent, and the purpose of your marketing,

Here are some things you can do to stay consistent with your Instagram Marketing for the cannabis category.

Given the strict guidelines and restrictions around cannabis-related content, many cannabis brands find themselves struggling to maintain a strong presence on the platform, but in order to invite new consumers into cannabis, promote its benefits, the developing category, its legalization, its various categories of products, business opportunities and to normalize its use, the cannabis industry needs Instagram. It's where many people make purchase decisions.

1) Don’t publish anything that says you offer any type of cannabis product or service “for sale” in any way.

2) Don’t publish images of cannabis, cannabis products, or cannabis paraphernalia.

3) Try using related words for your product/ service, for instance, if you are hosting a trade show, use your theme, your category/ business opportunities you are offering

4) Use generic hashtags that serve the intent of your communication, and develop campaign-oriented hashtags. Avoid using cannabis sale hashtags

5) Do not use Cannabis-Related Content That Violates Instagram's Guidelines

6) Switch to a business account and review, and act according to your community guidelines

7) Focus on educational, information, and recreational content

8) Engage with your followers & participate in the community

9) Publicize through your other cannabis marketing channels

These are some ways you can try consistently, to stay on top of your game of Cannabis Marketing on Instagram.
